Creating Your Content

This assignment is pretty self-explanatory: you just have to make the content you planned in the last two assignments. Feel free to use any props you need to. If you’re trying to make a skiing video in the middle of summer, it’s fine to pretend you’re at a mountain or whatever else you need to make your content possible. It’s an English class, so we are focused on the communication. As long as it’s easy to understand what you’re trying to show, we can all use our imaginations to supplement your production budget.

Make the videos one at a time. Go through the process end-to-end three times in a row. Editing your videos will give you insight into better ways to script and shoot your videos. If you plan to write all three at the same time and then film all three at the same time, you won’t get as many chances to improve your skills.
